Home buyers, sellers, and non-profit agencies, please help coauthor this generic fund raising letter for rebates in the pipeline by adding your favorite charity or cause. (Recent letter and generic Buyer agency fee rebate letter other real estate agencies can use where allowed by law)

Glad the purchase of your condominium at _________ is approaching, and as stated in our fee agreement, The Real Estate Cafe will rebate approximately $32,750 or 100% of our buyer agency commission shortly after closing. As we've discussed at our first meeting sixteen months ago, The Real Estate Cafe encourages it's clients to donate a portion of their rebate to their favorite charities or causes through an open fund raising model we call "Community Commission." Current and past clients, as well as others, are invited to submit potential beneficiaries in six broad categories each starting with the letter "A." Please review the list of non-profit organizations listed in each category below, or add an organization of your choice to our wiki by clicking on the appropriate link:
AIDS orphans (watch short video),
Arts organizations or individual Artists,
Advocacy groups,
Assistance efforts (micro-financing, disaster relief, etc. Please ADD favorite Haiti Relief projects!)
Alumni class funds
Apostolic works
We are also open to “Angel” funding proposals so you can donate to a worthy private cause or friend, including contributions to a child’s college educational fund. Think of it as BYOB: Bring Your Own Beneficiary.
We invite clients and others to nominate local non-profits, and sometime in 2010 hope to select "featured" individuals and organizations, in local communities around Massachusetts if not the nation / world, each month. Think of a non-profit version of the Awesome Foundation, ideally, supported by a coalition of real estate companies offering rebates. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we can begin that launch that initiaive with this Valentine's Day campaign?
Whether or not you donate some of the rebate, or "pay-it-forward," is your decision. There is no obligation. All we ask is that you inform us of the beneficiary so we can add it to our Pledge Map and tell users of our social networking site, http://ChangeAgents.ning.com.
Finally, if the home buying process was more difficult than you anticipated, you may want to reward yourselves with a vacation! If you are already a member of a frequent flier program, we would be glad to use the balance of your rebate, $XXX, to increase your frequent flier miles or purchase a gift certificates for travel.
