Back to the Future:  Consumer Revolution in Real Estate

 

Sixteen years after the original event in Boston, we're inviting real estate consumers, both buyers and sellers, to help plan a series of real estate round tables to discuss reforms and money-saving opportunities in real estate, including a possible real estate "unconference" for home owners selling for sale by owner tentatively called a "FSBO Camp."

The real estate industry is at an historic turning point.  Changes are occuring in many sectors of the industry to inform, protect or empower home buyers, sellers, and owners.  Our conference and exhibit area will showcase these consumer-oriented innovations and explain the right of home buyers and sellers to be represented by their own real estate agent.  Whether you are a home buyer, home seller, or home owner, this conference will provide valuable information to save you money.  For more information, call (617) 876-7173.

 

Registration (1993)

 

The conference will be held at The World Trade Center, 164 Northern Avenue, Boston.  For directions, call (617) 439-5055.  We expect this event to sell out.  Video monitors will be available for overflow attendance.  Preference for auditorium seating for Nader's presentation will be given to guests participating in the two day program.  Registration fees vary by group:

 

Group 1:  Consumers:  $10 which may be credited to the $25 Mass. Homebuyers Club annual fee if you wish to join the Club.

 

Group 2:  Mass. Homebuyers Club members:  $10 includes copy of "Eastern Mass. Guide to Financing Your Home"  to be picked up at show ($5.95 retail cost).

 

Group 3:  Industry professionals & trade associations:  $175 for the two-day program April 2-3 or $95 for April 3rd only
